Film and Video - High School Student Reception
Are you in High School and interested in a career in Film and Video Production? You are invited to join us in one of the High School Student Receptions that follow the GVSU Laker Experience Days. The next reception will occur in the Fall 2017 semester. Get to know about our program and the major, career prospects, meet the faculty, and you even get to get your hands on a film/animation workshop that we'll edit and you can take home. All that with some light snacks and some take-home swag. All in all, an afternoon of fun and learning.
On April 7, 2017, the GVSU Film & Video Production program hosted our first high school reception in which high school students had a chance to talk with current students and faculty, tour the facilities, and sit in on a class. While they were here, the high school students participated in making an experimental video based on the surrealist game, Exquisite Corpse.

Parents and Guardians
Parents and guardians, don’t think we forgot about you!
While the students are off making films and learning about our major, you will have the chance to talk to alumni and faculty about film and video as a major and career choice.
The afternoon of fun will be held in Lake Superior Hall, Room 246. We will be there to greet you! Simply take the elevator to the 2nd Floor, and you’re there!
We are building #2 on this campus map.
