NSF
NSF (2006) awarded GVSU $1.3 million to study the effects of Target Inquiry on teachers and students.

Dreyfus Foundation
The Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation Special Grant Program in the Chemical Sciences (2005) awarded Target Inquiry $116K to support its first teacher cohort.

Grand Valley State University
The development of the TI program was supported by the Pew Faculty Teaching and Learning Center through grants totaling $22K. 

GVSU Research and Development supported the early of study of TI by granting $2K.

The Provost and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean awarded $71K to Target Inquiry to support its second teacher cohort.
