Courses are offered for various prices based on clock hours, grant funding, sponsorships, total expenses, partnerships, and a myriad of other reasons. We try to keep our course prices affordable without sacrificing quality and service.
We try to keep our prices affordable and by offering lunch we would be forced to raise our rates. We have decided to leave lunch up to participants so that they can make their own decisions based on their tastes and budgets.

The reason we make this request is to place your license number on the certificates as required by the State Board of Social Work.
Your social work license number is the number under permanent ID on your wallet-sized copy. It is located in the bottom left corner. It usually begins with a #680. If you cannot find it, we’ll be happy to help you locate it during the event.
Your license expires on April 30th, which falls within 3 years after its original issue date. The expiration date should be noted on your license. To look up additional information regarding your license, you may go to the Department of Community Health’s Web site and provide your name, profession, and/or license number at https://w2.lara.state.mi.us/VAL/License/Search
We are in the process of securing course materials in electronic formats so that everything can be accessible on this Web site for you to download for reference. We hope to have that information available soon.
You should already be working together and planning the event with a Grand Valley School of Social Work faculty member. If so, contact Leslie at (616) 331-6522 or firstname.lastname@example.org for information on how to offer CECHs for your participants through a co-sponsorship agreement.
