Santiago, Dominican Republic This program is designed to give graduate students in the College of Education (COE) an opportunity to learn about social and cultural differences and apply their learning to systems of education in the U.S. while visiting the Dominican Republic.
This program takes place in Santiago, the second largest city in the Dominican Republic with almost 1 million people. The program is designed to prepare Movement Science, BMS and Pre-Professional Health majors to work with diverse populations by introducing students to the culture and education of one of the most beautiful countries in the Caribbean.
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic This program offers students the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the language and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world while living in the oldest European settlement in the Americas. Santo Domingo is at once a bustling urban center and a relic of the Spanish Caribbean colonial past.
