International Relations Students Study Abroad and Internships Abroad Scholarships

Description
Three grants of $500 each will be awarded to International Relations majors and minors who plan to study abroad in the Spring/Summer 2017, Fall 2017, or 2017-18 academic year. Grants may be applied to internships abroad as well, as long as the student is registered for IR 490, the internship course. Students can apply these funds to GVSU or external programs. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required to be eligible. Grant decisions will be made by the International Relations Advisory Committee. Financial need will be a factor in the Committee’s decisions. Students are required to submit a report of their activities upon return from study/internship abroad.

- Essay/proposal describing how you are an excellent candidate for this scholarship: 1-2 pages
