Selin Gursozlu is a doctoral student at Binghamton University (SUNY) in the program in Social, Political, Ethical, and Legal Philosophy. Her main research interests are in ethics (with special attention to virtue ethics) and feminist philosophy. Her dissertation, entitled "Virtues and Flourishing under Oppression," explores for an alternative non-ideal conception of flourishing and offers a new set of virtues peculiar to the conditions of oppression.
