Do you have questions about the Student Summer Scholars program? Get them answered at our Information Session.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Student Summer Scholars Program (S3) provides funds for a
student and faculty mentor to devote twelve weeks to a research and/or
creative project during the spring/summer semester.
GRANT INFORMATION
S3 grants provide a $3,000 student stipend and a small budget for
materials and travel expenses. Faculty mentors can receive up to a
$2,500 stipend.
APPLICATION PROCESS
The application is a collaborative effort between the potential
student scholar and faculty mentor. Apply online at www.gvsu.edu/ours/s3 by
January 29, 2016. The online application system opens November 2,
2015, and closes at 11:59 PM, January 29, 2016.
