Graduation Feast

The Native American Advisory Council (NAAC) hosts an annual graduation feast to celebrate the accomplishments and future endeavors of fall and winter semester graduates. Families and community members are invited to celebrate graduates and their contributions. As a gift for each graduate, the NAAC reserves a ceremonial cord for undergraduate students and a stole for graduate students to wear with their graduation regalia.

We had a wonderful 2023 Graduation Feast! See below for photos from the feast.

The 2024 Graduation Feast will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the Eberhard Center from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Registration for this celebration is available by clicking here. Deadline for registration is April 8. Please contact Lin Bardwell in the Office of Multicultural Affairs with any questions ([email protected] or 616-331-2177). We are excited to celebrate commencement with you and look forward to acknowledging your hard work and all your successes.

This program is intentionally designed to create culturally-responsive and educational spaces for our diverse communities. Programming is open to students regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, or other protected identity.
