Becoming a Member/Joining

How to Get Involved

There are several ways that you can become involved with the LGBT FSA. You can become a member which gives you voting rights relative to the election of Steering Committee members. The directory of FSA members is a public document.

LGBT FSA members are also encouraged to become a unit liaison. Liaisons serve as contact persons for both current and prospective faculty/staff in regards to resources, policies, and procedures. While a liaison may not have all of the answers, the Steering Committee and the network of members will work to get the necessary answers. If you are interested in joining the LGBT FSA or being notified of events, please contact us at If you're interested in being a member, please let us know if you are also interested in serving as a unit liaison.
