Description
Please join us at Holland's West K-7 School for a final day of story and portrait collection on Monday, October 19 from 2-3:30 p.m.
This effort is part of the Nuestra Comunidad Hispana project, a collaboration of the GVSU Kutsche Office of Local History (Brooks College of Interdisciplinary Studies), City of Holland, Herrick District Library, Latin Americans United for Progress (LAUP), St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, and GVSU's Meijer Campus in Holland.
Participants receive a free copy of their professional photo and copies of their recorded interview. Materials collected will be featured as a public exhibit to be unveiled in a reception on December 7 at Herrick District Library. All photos and interviews will be permanently archived in the Herrick District Library to be preserved for future generations.
Holland West K-7 is located at 500 E. 24th Street in Holland, Michigan.
