Skill Sets Required:
* The student intern must have an interest in the museum field, a passion for learning and preserving history.  
*The student intern must have some familiarity with Microsoft Excel & Word, and will learn how to use Past Perfect Software during his/her internship.
Upcoming Projects/Needs:
*The student intern will work with an overhead scanner used for open face scanning of fragile books and documents.  
*The student intern will create digital copies of fragile and old documents from Grand Haven as well as surrounding townships in Ottawa County, and start in the process of making these documents accessible online and user-friendly.
*The student intern would help maintain and develop a website.  
The LDL will provide/ train in the following areas:
*Intro to Archiving
*Scanning of old & fragile documents
*Inventory Maintenance
*Knowledge & Experience in Museum Studies/Document Preservation
The Kutsche Office will provide/train in the following areas:
*Archival Logistic DVD Lectures/Training Manual
*The application process & interview process
