*Preferably from the Tri-Cities area (Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon)
*Research Skills

*Must own a car & laptop
Upcoming Projects/Needs:
*Organizing Dusty Meetings
-Booking it
-Finding speakers
-Finding a location

*Students would help in the implementing of a yearlong celebration of the Grand River:
-24 lecture series
-12 speakers
-Trip to Chicago with Marjie to research artists for March 2012

*Establishment of Historic River Rd
-this would require research on the river east of Eastmanville Bridge
*Working on "Memory Grove" project in the Park on Leonard Rd at the Poor Farm.
-This would include documenting the history of forgotten veterans that passed away on the Poor Farm and other citizens' deaths that were left forgotten.
*Student would volunteer at Loutit Library and the Tri-cities Museum indexing and logging artifacts.  
*Student may also work alongside the Museum on an exhibit used in the "Celebration" project.
*Student would work on 10 oral histories:
-10 taped interviews of Dusty Dozens
The Dusty Dozens will provide/train in the following areas:
*An opportunity for the student to produce a final project that is all their own with their name on it whether that is an article, research, etc.
*An environment of people with professional degrees and careers.
The Kutsche Office will provide/train in the following areas:
*Archival Logistic DVD Lectures/Training Manual
*The application process & interview process
