Sigma Theta Tau
Sigma Theta Tau is an international honor society of Nursing that has over 120,000 members in more than 94 countries worldwide. Members serve as agents and catalysts for change throughout the world. Sigma Theta Tau members include clinicians, educators, administrators and researchers who are leaders in the scientific journey towards improved patient care.
The local chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the Kappa Epsilon chapter-at-large, was organized in 1996 joining chapters from 503 colleges and universities. Potential candidates may be students in undergraduate, graduate or doctoral programs or may be Nursing professionals or community leaders. The society challenges members to become better nurses and offers support through continuing education, networking opportunities, access to nursing research, mentoring opportunities and many other avenues.
