Kirkhof College of Nursing
The Kirkhof College of Nursing (KCON) at Grand Valley is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and recognized for outstanding teaching, scholarship, service, and research. The Kirkhof College of Nursing is located in the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The Kirkhof College of Nursing offers admission to qualified undergraduate students through its traditional prenursing, freshman, transfer, second degree, and RN to BSN entry points. Admission to the undergraduate nursing major is selective and highly competitive.
Degrees offered:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, B.S.N.; B.S.N. completion with an option for a B.S.N./M.S.N. articulated program for Registered Nurses and an M.S.N. option for Registered Nurses with degrees in other disciplines; a B.S.N. with a B.S.N./M.S.N. articulated option for students with degrees in other disciplines; Master of Science in Nursing, M.S.N.; and a combined Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration, M.S.N./M.B.A.
The Kirkhof College of Nursing offers educational opportunities to men and women who wish to prepare themselves for the responsibilities of professional nursing practice in a dynamic and changing health care system. Continuing education courses and workshops are also offered to assist nurses in updating their knowledge and in learning new roles and functions.
