Grand Rapids/Kent County Convention & Visitor's Bureau Internship
We are looking for someone who is interested in the Convention Sales area of the Hospitality field. The main function of the internship is to assist the Client Development Manager in finding new convention business for Grand Rapids. Job duties will include researching association websites and directories, along with making phone calls to gather information on the association and their convention needs. Data entry will be a necessary part of your job.
It is important that the candidate is familiar with the function of a Convention and Visitor Bureau.
Good phone skills and excellent computer skills are needed. Internship is paid. Request a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week. The office hours are M-F, 8:30am-5pm (weekend hours are not an option). Position is available starting January 5th.
