Housing Tours
Thank you for your interest in on-campus housing again at GVSU. We are proud to offer a wide variety of housing options for freshmen, transfer and upperclass students. To learn more about the different housing styles available, please visit HERE.
Freshmen Housing Tours:
Individuals interested in viewing freshmen housing options for 2014 and beyond may contact Admissions to schedule a campus tour which includes Suite and One Bedroom Efficiency Apartment Style Living Centers. Please visit THIS link or call (616) 331-2025 to schedule a visit.
If you are a freshman coming for Fall 2013, you will have the opportunity to go on a tour of four freshman style showrooms (Traditional, Suite, 1-BR Apartment, and 2 BR-Apartment) at 9:00am and 3:30pm on the date you signed up for Orientation. You do not need to sign up for these tours, just show up at the Henry Hall Atrium. If you miss one of these tour times or would like to join in on this tour even though you aren't signed up for Orientation, please fill out THIS link. At that link, you can also sign up for a time to see upperclass apartments.
Apartment Tours (Allendale):
The Housing Staff offers tours Mondays at 3pm, Wednesdays at 3pm, and Fridays at 9am, 11am and 3pm when fall/winter classes are in session. The tour features showrooms in Laker Village and South Apartments. We are not able to accommodate requests for on-demand tours.
During the spring/summer, tours are taken to these buildings on each Orientation day at 3:30pm. Please sign up HERE to take one of these tours and to view the dates. Tours leave from the Housing office (103 Student Services).
Downtown Apartment Tours (Pew Campus):
Individuals may visit Winter Hall Monday-Friday 9am-5pm to view a showroom. Advance notice is appreciated. Please call (616) 331-7600.
Honors College Tours:
Individuals may visit the Meijer Honors College office located in Niemeyer Monday-Friday 9am-5pm to view a showroom. Advance notice is appreciated. Please call (616) 331-3219.
