You can request home delivery of books and Web delivery of articles

Need books and journal articles but can’t find them online? You can have any book at the University Libraries sent to your home address. Just request the book in the catalog and select "Off-campus pickup" as your pickup location. You can mail them back to us, or to avoid postage, drop them off at one of the following locations:

If we don’t have a book or article you need, we will borrow it from another library. The whole world of library collections is available to you. Just fill out a Document Delivery request.


How to Request a Document:

1.) When you find the record of the available book you were looking for, click on the "Request It" button:

2.) Log in with your Grand Valley username and password.

3.) Choose "Off-Campus Pickup" from the drop-down menu:

4.) Be sure you advance to the screen where it confirms that your request was successful.

5.) Watch for your item to be delivered to your home address! (For first-time users, you may have information to fill in).
