GVSU in photos: Solar eclipse viewing event draws more than 1,000

An event to observe the April 8 solar eclipse, hosted by the Physics Department near the Cook Carillon Tower on the Allendale Campus, drew more than 1,000 people. They gathered to safely view the event and enjoy the phenomenon with others.
