Grand Valley Magazine Facts

For more than 20 years, Grand Valley Magazine has shared news and success stories from the campus community. 

The magazine is published three times a year, including a digital-only issue during the summer. Printed issues in the fall and spring are sent to alumni and university community members who have opted to receive mailed copies. People who would like to receive mailed copies can send an email to [email protected].

Magazine staff members follow this mission: Stories and content from Grand Valley Magazine communicate the university's strategic mission, vision and values through our community's vibrant and inspiring successes for an audience of alumni, supporters and the greater Grand Valley community. 

Each magazine issue is supported by this website, which has been redesigned to provide readers with better search capabilities, ability to share articles on social media and view videos.

Advertisements

Rates:

  • Full-page $1,350
  • Half-page $1,000

There may be an additional charge for ad photos that would need to be taken by University Communications photographers. To inquire, contact Michele Coffill at [email protected].

Ads will be positioned in the magazine at the staff’s discretion.

Ads submitted past deadlines will not be considered.

Submitted files must be Adobe InDesign (preferred) or Illustrator files.

Files must be layered and editable: all text must be editable; If providing an Illustrator format, do not outline fonts; Provide all fonts and links; All raster graphics and photos provided must be 300 dpi at actual size.

Ads using the university logo must adhere to the university logo standards. More information about Grand Valley's logo standards can be found here.

Grand Valley Magazine reserves the right to edit ads to comply with our standards if necessary.
