Research and Teaching Interests:My research focuses on the evolution of ocean circulation and climate over the Cenozoic. I use stable isotopes and other methods to unlock the record of past ocean conditions preserved in deep-sea sediments. My general teaching interests are in the areas of oceanography, global climate change, and environmental geology.
