Teaching & Research Interests:

Before coming to Grand Valley I taught earth science at the middle and high school level for 13 years.  I worked in both urban and suburban schools in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Madison Wisconsin, and Kansas City, Missouri.  I enjoy teaching the laboratories for Exploring the Earth at Grand Valley.  I have also taught Environmental Geology on the Devos Campus and am also an adjunct faculty at Grand Rapids Community College.
