A four-year program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.).

In the first two years students take courses fundamental to engineering in preparation for admission to their major and cooperative education experience in industry.
Integrated cooperative  education allows students the opportunity to gain industrial experience before graduation. During the last two years of the program students alternate periods of cooperative education in industry with academic study.

The interdisciplinary engineering program allows students to tailor their engineering education in preparation for careers in emerging fields. All engineering major programs are capped by a multidisciplinary two-semester senior design project requiring initiative, planning, and design.

Throughout the program, computers are used to develop and support the analytical and design skills required of engineers.


 A student may purse the BSE degree in any one of the following majors:

 

In addition to their engineering majors, students may also get a minor in Biomedical Engineering.

Graduate Programs (M.S.E)

The MSE program serves working engineering professionals employed full time who wish to pursue their education on a part-time basis. The program provides these students with the education they need to exceed the expectations of their employers.

The MSE program serves full-time graduate students who seek a research foundation upon which to base doctoral-level studies, as well as those who seek to enhance their employability through Masters-level engineering studies.

The program is designed for engineers who are self-motivated and inquisitive. Engineering knowledge and skills are strengthened by courses and projects that apply advanced engineering methods to solve practical problems.

 

A student may purse the BSE degree in any one of the following majors:

 

  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Electrical and Computer Engineering
    o   Communications, Signal Processing and Control Systems
    o   Electrical Energy Systems
    o   Digital and Computer Systems
  • Manufacturing Operations
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering
