A student may enter the MSE program at the beginning of any of the three semesters of the academic year (late August, early May, and early January).

Applications for graduate study are available through www.gvsu.edu.

Students may enter the program on a non-degree-seeking basis while their application is being processed, or for any other reason with the approval of the graduate program director.  Non-degree-seeking status admission applications, along with registration as a non-degree- seeking student, can be completed by meeting with the graduate program director.

Students must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or a satisfactory GRE score to be admitted. Other interested students should meet with the graduate program director.
