Named after Richard M Gillett, one of the founding fathers of Grand Valley State University, the Gillett Society recognizes those Grand Valley alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff who have graciously made personal estate and planned gift arrangements to benefit the University and its students. Gillett Society Membership
- Active membership in the Gillett Society is awarded to those who notify the Office of Gift Planning of their gift arrangements. To join, you may fill out a membership form online. Active members of record will receive a certificate of membership.
- Memorial membership will be ascribed to those whose gifts have matured and are now applied to their intended purposes at the University.
- The Society invites its active members to special events, such as the Gillett Society Celebration Dinner, as well as teleconferences and seminars on timely topics.
