The Sociophonetics and Dialect Research (SDR) group is a research-focused group centered on getting undergraduates involved with high-caliber research projects related to sociophonetics and dialect variation. It's purpose is to give undergraduates, that have excelled in SLP304 and SLP306, an opportunity to be a part of on-going research, whereby students' skills, exposure and appreciation for research are fostered. This group meets twice a month. Depending on each students skill sets, willingness to be involved and commitment to the group, various types of tasks are assigned by the lead researcher and principle investigator, Dr. Wil Rankinen.

If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Dr. Wil A. Rankinen at [email protected].
