If you have completed an associate of science or an applied associate of science in an applicable health profession you could be eligible to complete a bachelor’s degree in the Allied Health Sciences major with the Health Professional Degree completion (AHS-HPD) emphasis. 

A GVSU degree requires completion of a minimum of 120 credits. The AHS-HPD allows students to transfer into GVSU up to 80 credits from the professional associate degree and other transfer coursework; the remaining 40 credits must be completed at GVSU. Please refer to the catalog for further details about this bachelor's degree.

You may proceed to complete this application if you have received a letter of acceptance from Grand Valley State University.

Application Information

Your application will be reviewed by the Allied Health Science program, and you will be notified of the decision if you are eligible for admission into the AHS-HPDC program.

Since each student’s transcripts and circumstances are different, depending on the school attended and health profession pursued, the planning of courses required for this degree will be individually determined.
