It’s an investment in transforming Michigan: In less than half a century, we’ve graduated more than 63,000 teachers, scientists, entrepreneurs, public administrators, health care practitioners, parents, and neighbors. In fact 85 percent of our alumni live, study, or work in Michigan. Meet just a few of our successes… It’s an investment in the region: The region’s economic growth and quality of life are all enhanced by GVSU’s activities. Every year, as the region's largest university, GVSU partners with other organizations to address math education, the growth of small businesses, the needs of the aging, nutrition for the homeless, and dozens of other concerns. With a focus on the liberal arts and a strong faculty, GVSU puts a great education—and a great future—within reach.
