The Laker Academic Success Center (LASC) supports Grand Valley State University’s student-athletes as they balance the demands of academics and athletics. Our team provides personalized advising, success planning, and connections to campus resources that help student-athletes thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Serving more than 700 student-athletes across 21 NCAA and GLIAC sports, we’re here to help you stay on track, find your strengths, and reach your goals.

Our Services

Student Meetings

Every student-athlete at GVSU has an assigned athletic advisor to either support their transition into college or keep them on the right academic track.

Resource Connection

Along with providing student-athletes with resources to support academic, professional, and personal resources, the office partners with various campus resources to support individual success.

Registration Prep

Athletic advisors help student-athletes register for classes, keeping busy athletic schedules in mind.

Recognition
