NOAA diver and lab collaborator Wayne Lusardi featured on AGU Tumblr

Wayne is swimming over the unique microbial mat ecosystem in the bottom of the Middle Island sinkhole near Alpena, Michigan in the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. The Biddanda lab collaborates with NOAA to study this extreme ecosystem.
