Women and Gender Studies Awards and Scholarships
Named to celebrate Texas congresswoman Barbara Jordan, this award honors a person on GVSU's campus who has been a long-time advocate of women, women's issues, and the Women and Gender Studies program, and who has bridged the gap between traditional academic fields and women's and gender studies. The Jean Enright Scholarship provides financial assistance to Women and Gender Studies Majors and Minors. Students must be making satisfactory academic progress and must demonstrate significant participation in community and/or campus service that is centered on women and/or girls.
