Women's Commission members serve on at least one Commission committee.
Advocacy: Serve on one of the two Family Leave Task Force subcommittees (and contribute to any additional advocacy work that develops)
Awards: Collecting nominations, structuring nomination review, communication with nominators and nominees, ordering of awards, creation of animation plan
Events: All event details (catering, room set up, animation plan, decorations, name tags, volunteers, etc.) for Fall Welcome, Mentoring Reception, Celebrating Women Awards, HerStory, and Conscious Conversations
Marketing & Communications: Liaison with University Communications for distribution of marketing materials including print and email, web upkeep, and creation and distribution of Now More Than Ever newsletter.
Mentoring: NEW for 2017-2018 - Build upon annual Mentoring Reception to expand mentoring opportunities for women on campus.
