Hosted by Dr. Marla Wick, participants in this two-part presentation will learn and practice skills for helping people of all genders and sexual orientations feel welcome, included, and affirmed in their experience with the Writing Center. Part 1 will focus on issues impacting the LGBTQIA+ community as well as terminology and concepts surrounding gender, sex, and sexual orientation.
