Description
Beyond the Frame is a student-curated exhibition featuring student
work from the Film & Video and Photography programs here at Grand
Valley State University. With the recent merging of these programs
into the Department of Visual and Media Arts, the opportunity was
introduced to showcase these programs, resulting in the chance for
students to exhibit their work outside of the classroom environment.
The exhibition is curated by photography students, Dan Schrager
and Rachel Britton, and features work from (in no particular order)
Liam S. O'Connor, Kayla Hardy, Kirie Ritchie, Lucas Nielsen, Jenna
Pewarchie, Kelly Arrand, Sara Carte, Jordan Clark, Madison Cruz, Zac
Kuchar, Brittany Weaver, Olivia Karwoski, Olivia Thibeault, Blaine
Brown, Chad Hilliard, Olivia Mock, and Taylor Welton.
Beyond the Frame will be open from Monday, February 5th to
Thursday, February 15th in Padnos Student Gallery of Calder Art Center.
An opening reception will be held on Thursday, February 8th, 2018, at 5pm. All are welcome.
