Update on Winter 2020 Events
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Department of Visual and Media Arts canceled its open house events for the Winter 2020 semester. This applies to the following upcoming events:

Hello Future Laker!
The students in the Department Visual and Media Arts major invite you to hangout with them immediately following the conclusion of the Laker Experience Days. They want to hear what you've been creating at your current school, and share with you the many class activities and clubs that they're involved with at GVSU.
If you are interested in a career in Film and Video Production, Studio Arts/Art History/Art Education, you're in for an afternoon of shared excitement and a welcoming atmosphere. You will meet with students, faculty and alumni to discuss the major and learn about future career options.

What to expect
We offer two open house events:
- Film and Video Production - For students interested in majoring in Film & Video Production
- Studio Arts/Art History/Art Education - for students interested in majoring in Art History, Art Education, and Studio Arts: Ceramics, Graphic Design, Illustration, Jewelry & Metalsmithing, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Visual Studies.
