Congratulations Ken Fridsma, the inaugural Laker "Fan of the Year!"

Congratulations to Ken Fridsma, selected as the inaugural Laker
"Fan of the Year!" Ken has been a GVSU football season
ticket holder since the team's inception in 1960. He retired from GVSU
in 2008 after a 41-year career as Financial Aid Director. During that
time, Ken led the establishment of the football and athletic
scholarship program. To thank Ken for his support, GVSU Athletics will
be presenting him a custom Jostens championship-style ring at a GVSU
home basketball game.
Future award winners will also be selected on their number of
years as a season ticket holder, Irwin Club support, tailgating, etc.
