Wednesday, March 14 from 11am-2pm is the Summer Job Fair in Henry Hall Atrium.
Over 40 organizations from around the state will be on GVSU's Allendale campus to find student employees for summer jobs and internships. There will be employers from various fields including healthcare, business, recreation, education, manufacturing, and more.

Summer Program Tutor
TUTOR/TUTOR Counselor - Summer Program
We are currently seeking GVSU students to serve as a tutor or tutor counselor during our summer residential program. Please feel free to share with any students who may interested or you feel meet the qualifications.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Supervise and tutor high school students who are attending an academic summer residential program on GVSU’s Allendale Campus. Must be available to attend a mandatory, full day orientation/training on Friday, June 9, 2017 on the GVSU downtown campus. Tutors are scheduled to work with students from 2:30 PM - 8:00 PM Monday thru Thursday (2 required Fridays, June 16 & July 7) and paid an hourly rate; Tutor Counselors are scheduled to work Monday thru Thursday from 2:30 PM and overnight in the dorms (position includes dorm room during the program) and in the afternoons on Fridays. Tutor Counselors are paid by stipend. Program runs June 13, 2017 through July 13, 2017.
QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer Junior standing or better. Experience with and ability to tutor high school students. Prefer students pursuing a degree in secondary education. Seeking students with strengths, academic majors and/or ability to tutor in the following high school subjects: Science (chemistry, biology, physics and anatomy), Math (algebra, algebra II, geometry and pre-calc). Additionally will consider Reading and Writing majors.

RA for Upward Bound at The Ohio State University
We are looking for Resident Advisers for The Ohio State University ATI Upward Bound's 2018 Summer program! Our program serves low-income, first-generation students in Wooster, Ohio from June 11th, 2018-July 20th, 2018. The last week of our 6-week program will be an out-of-state trip to the Carolina's, which the RAs will help supervise!
We're looking for dedicated, hard-working college undergraduates in their Junior or Senior year, graduate students, or recent college grads looking to provide opportunity to ambitious high school students who strive for a college education. The best candidates are not only energetic and driven, but they also hold themselves to high academic standards throughout their collegiate experience
