Seek Crisis Help

If you feel you are in immediate danger of harm by another person or yourself, call 911.

  • YWCA West Central Michigan
    Trained volunteer advocates are available 24 hours a day to help victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. They provide:
    • A confidential, supportive, listening ear by phone (616) 454-9922.
    • Sensitive, supportive care for victims of sexual assault who need immediate help, a rape exam, are having flashbacks, etc.
    • Crisis services for friends or family who accompany victims seeking medical care or a rape exam, or who simply have concerns or questions about helping their loved one.
    • General referral information for local medical, legal, and counseling services.

  • Michigan Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence
    mcdesv offers a 24 hour, confidential hotline chat, as well as a 24 hour confidential hotline (866) 238-1454.

  • National Sexual Assault Hotline
    National Sexual Assault Hotline provides confidential, one-on-one, crisis support 24/7. You can chat with a trained staff member who will provide you with information and referrals through a secure instant-messaging format, or simply offer a safe place to talk about what happened.

  • National Domestic Violence Hotline
    The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available to callers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide services in more than 170 languages. Hotline advocates answer questions, provide safety planning and information as well as directly connect callers to domestic violence resources available in their local calling area.  All calls to the hotline are confidential and anonymous.

  • Victims Connect Resource Center
    Victims Connect Resource Center provides a referral helpline where crime victims can learn about their rights and options confidentially and compassionately. A program of the National Center for Victims of Crime.
