  • Hosted Atomic Objects Accelerator Team around the discussion of new technology in the workforce.

  • China Delegation Visits Showcase - 11 universities from China visited the library and showcase in June 2014 along with the Padnos International Center.
  • GVSU EducationUSA and International Admissions Visit - Members from the EducationUSA Center and International Admissions toured the showcase in June 2014 with visitors from Ghana, Senegal, Poland, and Egypt.
  • Olivet College Visit - Librarians from Olivet College visited the showcase.
  • LOEX 2014 Visit - Many librarians from the Library Orientation Exchange visited the showcase from areas including: North Carolina, West Indies, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Houston, and Georgia.
  • San Jose State University Visit - Several representatives from SJSU visited the showcase in May 2014.
  • 8th Grade Tours - Several 8th grade classes visited the showcase from GVSU's Lansing and Detroit Charter Schools.
  • GV Magazine Spring 2014 Issue - The Technology Showcase was highlighted on the cover and as a featured article in the Spring 2014 issue of GV Magazine.  This feature also included a YouTube video highlight about the showcase on the GVSU channel.
  • International Visit - Representatives from China, Nepal, Vietnam, and India visited the showcase.
  • CollabraCam Visit - The founder of the local startup CollabraCam visited the showcase.
  • Hope College Visit - Librarians from Hope College visited the library and showcase in April 2014.
  • Technology Showcase Video - GVSU Libraries released a YouTube video about the showcase.
  • Lansing Community College - Several librarians from LCC visited the showcase in March 2014.
  • GVSU Student Scholars Day 2014 - Natalie Phillips used the showcase for her visual art project entitled "Bound" which is an interactive light-based piece that detects motion to control its light source.  The presentation included a projector, Max6, and Microsoft Kinect for the 19th Annual Student Scholars Day.  On April 9, there were more than 300 presentations by 500 student scholars and 165 mentors.
  • GVSU ExtravaGRANDza 2014 - Part of the Laker Traditions program and Laker4Lifetime, the showcase was a destination site for the ExtravaGRANDza “Last Tour” for seniors. 
  • Mid-East Honors Association Conference - The Technology Showcase was highlighted in a session about 3D printing and Google Glass by Jonathan Cook, student assistant, at the Mid-East Honors Association event that was held at GVSU's Devos Campus from April 4th to April 6th, 2014.
  • Allendale Township Board Visit - Several members of the Allendale Township Board visited the showcase in March 2014.
  • GVSU Teaching & Learning with Technology Symposium 2014 - Technology highlighted at this event included: Google Glass, Double Robotics, Leap Motion, and MakerBot Replicator 2 at the symposium on March 19th which was located in the Mary Idema Pew Library Learning and Information Commons.  
  • GRCC Teaching, Learning and Technology Showcase 2014 - Technology highlighted at this event included: Google Glass, Double Robotics, Leap Motion, and 3D printing at the symposium on March 19th which was located in the main building at GRCC.
  • GVSU College of Education Visit - The COE visited the showcase in February 2014.

  • Zebra Imaging - The founder of Zebra Imaging which produces 3D holographs visited the showcase.
  • EDUCAUSE 2013 - The showcase was highlighted in a session entitled: "Getting Your Faculty to Adopt Learning Management Technology: Lessons from the Front Lines" in Anaheim, CA that was held from September 29th through October 2nd.
