EMERGING TECHNOLOGY TRENDS

We are always on the lookout for new trends in technology, while also striving to discover the unique possibilities that technology can provide in teaching and learning...  

To uncover and monitor emerging trends, several publications and resources are used to include: Gartner Hype CycleNew Media Consortium Horizon Report, ALA Center for the Future of Libraries Trends, EDUCAUSE Top Ten Issues, and EDUCAUSE Center for Analysis and Research Top-Ten Strategic Technologies as well as conferences such as Campus Technology, EDUCAUSE, and SXSWedu.  

Finally, we also look to our local tech hub and environmental design partners such as: Steelcase, Custer Office Furniture, Herman Miller, Haworth, Izzy+, Springthrough Consulting, Vizidef, GR Makers, Mutually Human, Atomic Object, and Universal Minds.
