GVSU Initiatives
A+ Credit Rating Grand Valley has maintained an A+ credit rating from Standard and Poors by exhibiting a strong financial position and maintaining financial health based in assets and liabilities.
Sustainability Reinvestment Fund A campus-wide sustainability reinvestment fund has been established for faculty and student sustainability projects. Mini-grants and loans are available with repayments made through reinvested project savings. Find more information on our Scholarships & Funding page.
Economic Impact In 2009 the estimated economic impact by GVSU in the tri-county are of West Michigan was $644 million, and an estimated 10,100 jobs were attributed to the university. There are more than 74,000 graduates of Grand Valley with the majority living in Michigan and nearly half living or working in West Michigan's tri-county area.
