"During my study abroad experience, I traveled throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom for about six weeks. I participated in many excursions and studied both the Celtic and British cultures through literature. A few friends and I also took a day trip to Paris, France. Not only did I learn a great deal about other cultures on my trip, I also learned about myself. I discovered the value of independence while traveling abroad. Spending time at various new locations, making new friends, and eating local cuisine made for an awesome adventure! My journey was incredible and I’m very thankful for the opportunity of studying abroad. I encourage everyone to travel abroad and broaden your perspective; it's truly life-changing!"
