LIB 100 & 201 APPROVED! 

GVSU Students of Color will be sharing their experiences studying abroad. Attendees will hear from a panel of students and alumni about their journeys in diverse locations around the world. Students will discuss various topics including some of the challenges they experienced, how to talk to parents about going abroad, culture shock and adjustment, how to fund study abroad, and more. Staff from the Padnos International Center will talk about scholarship and funding opportunities and how new students can start their own journey abroad. The event will include a Q&A with the panelists & PIC staff. After the program, students will be encouraged to stay for food and conversation. There will be resources and study abroad advisers available to help students start planning their own study abroad.
