Ireland - EUSA Internship

The following is an estimated cost of attendance for the IRELAND EUSA Internship. Students often pay for study abroad through a combination of financial aid, personal funds, scholarships, grants, and alternative loans. The total amount listed as the Total Program Cost is the maximum amount of financial aid that can be awarded to you by GVSU for your study abroad program. This total program cost does not reflect the amount of aid you will qualify for, rather, it serves as the cap on what can be awarded.

Program Fee

The Program Fee includes:

·        Internship placement and support services

·        Eight weeks of housing in student residences

·        Online pre-departure orientation

·        5-day Orientation in Dublin

·        7-week internship component:

o   Internship placement and support services

o   Coaching and trouble-shooting during the placement

o   Mid-term review and final evaluation

·        On-site program management and emergency support

·        Cultural exploration activities

·        Airport pick-up

·        Third party liability insurance for each students

Health Insurance/ISIC Card

Paid to an insurance provider of your choice if you are not already covered by a health insurance policy. The Basic ISIC card is $28 and will meet PIC's health insurance requirement. A list of comprehensive health insurance options is available on the PIC website.

Passport/ Photo/ Visa

Passport Book fee. This is paid to passport processing agency. 
You will also need 2 passport photos to go with your passport application (these can be taken at the Pados International Center) 

Additional Meals ($300/week)

Meals not budgeted in the program fee. Students will purchase these meals at their own expense.

Personal Expenses

On-site personal expenses associated with basic necessities.
