History
There are many approaches to studying history. Study abroad offers students the distinct opportunity to experience various historical contexts and sites thus enabling a unique perspective on the understanding of countries and cultures. Imagine learning about Buddhism while sipping butter tea with Tibetan monks in the Himalayas, participating in a cultural program at Kolkata, doing archival study on the Middle East at Ankara, or visiting historical sites in Jamaica. The possibilities are endless.

Italy
Students interested in combining their study abroad experience with an internship, or those looking to focus solely on an internship, have many options. Customized internships are available in a few locations through GVSU internships, as well as other programs such as ELAP and World Endeavors
