Almost 75% of my classes will be conducted in the Spanish language, so that I am able to really push myself to emphasize in the language. About 45 minutes southwest of Dublin, I will spend my time there completing fieldwork at Camp Barretstown, a camp for children with serious illness. This scholarship allows me to see Ireland (and England?) in my time off, as well as enhance my cultural competence, as I will be working with children from 12 different countries. I am excited to enhance my future as a health care professional as well as learn about many different viewpoints and people!
