State of the Student Body

You're Invited!
As the official student government of Grand Valley State University, we work each day with our fellow Laker students, faculty, staff, and campus administration to improve the student experience at GVSU. Our annual event, State of the Student Body, offers all those who call GVSU their home to join us and learn about the work Student Senate has accomplished during the preceding semester, and the work we aspire to do during the new semester. The event is hosted by Student Senate Cabinet, or the leadership team of Student Senate. We welcome all students, faculty, staff, and administration to join us!
Join us: Thursday, January 27th, 4:30pm, Cook-Dewitt Center Auditorium*
*event will be recorded and also offered for viewing in a hybrid format

Mission: Student Senate will cultivate a student body that is engaged, healthy, and empowered.
Vision: Student Senate will create collaborative working relationships with any GVSU-affiliated faculty, staff, administrator, student, or student organization as well as external resources to make the Laker experience equitable, accessible, and sustainable while representing the authentic voice of the student body.
