Provides office and clerical assistance to the Office of Student Life. Job duties include answering telephone lines, assisting visitors, sorting mail, campus deliveries, scheduling meetings, managing office supply orders and related equipment, assist student organizations with payments for approved funding and van rentals, assist staff with meeting scheduling, department projects and events.

The CSLC’s Volunteer Coordinators provide front line customer service for all visitors and administrative support to the Assistant Director of Student Life for Civic Engagement. Volunteer Coordinators serve as a key resource in connecting students to volunteer opportunities, therefore are expected to be knowledgeable about all aspects of the CSLC, familiar with local community organizations and upcoming volunteer opportunities, and knowledgeable about the 60+ service and advocacy student organizations on campus.

Assists the Commencement Team with planning for the four ceremonies and one Convocation ceremony. Duties will include meeting weekly to ensure progress is happening for all the team, managing Commencement email account, updating and managing Commencement website as needed, assisting with GradFest, editing the program, inventorying regalia and Commencement storage, monitoring the faculty RSVP information, communicating with records on any academic changes, and providing support for the day of.
Leadership Interns will help coordinate and facilitate campus-wide leadership development opportunities including but not limited to the First Year Leadership Experience, StrengthsQuest workshop series, Venderbush Leadership Connection, the student organization workshop series, IGNITE, and Campus Life Night. This position helps with the promotion of programs, collaboration with campus partners, facilitation of program content, and assessment and evaluation of the programs. Interns will also be available for consultations with student leaders regarding their groups and organizations. This is a 10 hours/week internship and can be taken for class credit.

The Building Manager will be the eyes and ears of the Kirkhof Center in absence of the full-time staff. Among their duties: Monitoring the building, opening and closing the building, working dances and concerts, basic knowledge of AV equipment (training will be done), and other various duties as assigned.

Responsibilities for the daily operation of the 2020 Information Desk include cash-handling responsibilities, ticket sales transactions, and a good working knowledge of current and upcoming events. Issue keys, give out campus directions, and welcome guests. Uphold strong customer service standards for dress, greetings, phone calls, and expedient customer response. Support emergency response processes as needed. Attend required student employee staff development meetings/programs.
