Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Provides Aid in the Flint Water Crisis

The gentlemen of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. kicked off Black History Month by bringing over 400 cases of water to Flint to help with those impacted by the Flint Water Crisis. The men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. are dedicated to serving the community in any way possible, and their efforts in Flint will hopefully provide more people access to clean water.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was the first Greek-letter fraternity created for African American men in a time when black men were not able to join other fraternities on the basis on discrimination. Since the first chapter in 1906, the organization has expanded to other universities and continues to grow throughout the nation. To learn more about the impact Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is making, check them out on Laker Link and watch the Student Life calendar for events sponsored by these wonderful men.
