16 Students Graduate from First Year Leadership Experience

On November 19, 16 students graduated from First Year Leadership Experience (FYLE). The interactive 5-week program is designed to teach primarily first year and transfer students how to be leaders on campus as well as provide them with leadership opportunities at GVSU.
Each week of the program, students focus on different ways they can become strong leaders and make a difference on campus. From building team skills to networking practice, FYLE ensures students are prepared to go out into the community as strong leaders.
FYLE is no longer a Grand Valley program, but there are many
other ways to develop yourself as a leader through Registered Student Organizations.
