Robert Page

Robert Page is a junior studying communication sciences and disorders. He is the president of the Grand Valley chapter of the American Sign Language & Culture Club (ASLCC) and a member of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA). ASLCC aims to promote deaf and hard of hearing awareness and culture, and the NSSLHA is an organization for students interested in pursuing careers in speech-language pathology or audiology.

Through ASLCC, Robert has found a group of people on campus who are just as committed to sign language as he is. As the current ASLCC president, he works to “spread awareness, advocate for Hearing Loss initiatives, and volunteer and fundraise for local organizations that support deaf and hard of hearing causes”. Robert also hopes that ASLCC can bring more awareness to the Grand Valley community about the importance of advocacy for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
